Claudia Strauss

Claudia is an accomplished marketing executive who left the creative agency business to work directly with clients and pursue opportunities in the innovation and entrepreneurship space. She is a marketing pro, an innovator, change-maker and business builder. Throughout her career she has demonstrated a keen and unusual ability to leverage cultural insights into transformational business ideas and creative campaigns and partnerships. In the agency business, Claudia was known as a force – hired by Founders and CEO’s to build and modernize businesses and create game-changing and award-winning marketing teams and ideas. At Grey she was the CEO of the Activation, PR and Talent practices which she grew significantly during her time there - boosting the agency's bottom line and profits, garnering dozens of creative and strategic awards, and cementing the practices as critical to the overall offerings of the global agency.  Prior to Grey, she worked with the founders of kbs (now Forsman & Bodenfors) to build that agency's integrated marketing disciplines, ultimately becoming President of the practices, and a Managing Partner of the agency. In both roles she was a key part of the executive leadership teams and worked on overall business strategy and positioning as well as on strategic acquisitions.  Since moving into consulting, Claudia was retained by BlackRock’s Global CMO to overhaul their approach to Marketing, Integration and Content and develop a global Purpose platform. Other current clients include museums, travel brands and DTC wellness products.  Claudia is also an advisor to several startups in the marketing technology space as well as a mentor at XRC Labs and Project Mentor.  Aside from being a marketing executive who loves to use creativity to solve problems, she is a real connector, and a culture, design and travel junkie who enjoys life in NYC to the fullest. Claudia has a vast network of freelancer and agency partners to tap into for larger scale assignments and execution.
